Project: 2121 Productions and Vixens
Live Body has just added a new client to the family, and we will be kicking off a new project with them on August 1. The client is 2121 Productions, LLC. We will be composing a new theme song for 2121’s web-based action adventure series Vixens of Virtue, Vixens of Vice. The new theme song will be used starting with the second season of the show, which kicks off later this year. Our role with the promotion of Vixens and its inevitable translation into other formats doesn’t stop there. But we’re not going to ruin all the fun by telling you everything now. Stay tuned for more details.
2121 is a New Jersey based, full-service production company born out of the belief that creativity is the shared expression of one’s life and experiences. 2121 was established to create quality entertainment in a variety of media including film, video, music, photography, and multimedia. 2121 uses in-house studios, directors, cinematographers, producers, choreographers, and writers. They are also able to draw from a vast wealth of contacts and resources to deliver the final product that any client requests!
So what’s Vixens about? Take Buffy the Vampire Slayer, mix it with The Brady Bunch and just a dash of the original Batman TV series and you have Vixens of Virtue, Vixens of Vice. Six super sisters are brought together by a mixed marriage – their father was a hero, their mother a villain. Three of them are super heroes, the Sweets. They are on the search for their parents who mysteriously disappeared a year ago. The other three sisters were born without powers and plot revenge on their do-gooding counterparts whom they resent. They are the Martins. The Vixens vie for control of the city as their personal lives grow more complex, their loyalties shift and as secrets are revealed. Empowering to women, irresistible to men, the Vixens are as dangerous as they are beautiful in this live-action mixture of action and camp.
